About Us

North Gaston High School, located in Dallas, North Carolina, is home to the Leadership Academy and serves students in grades 9-12. During the 2025-2026 school year, North Gaston became one of three high schools in North Carolina to earn the prestigious "Leader in Me" Lighthouse School Distinction. We are committed to helping every student succeed both in the classroom and beyond.

North Gaston offers a variety of academic programs, extracurricular activities, and career pathways that prepare students for college, the military, or the workforce. With a focus on strong academics, career and technical education, the arts, and athletics, the school works to develop well-rounded, responsible citizens.
