Army JROTC – Leadership Education and Training

The Army JROTC program at North Gaston High School prepares students to become confident, responsible leaders. Through hands-on training and classroom instruction, students learn the value of citizenship, leadership, teamwork, and communication. The program also helps students understand their rights, responsibilities, and privileges as American citizens. With a focus on character development and service, JROTC builds a strong foundation for success in school, careers, and life.

As part of the Leadership Academy, through military style training, students progress from ROTC I to ROTC IV, developing responsibility, teamwork, and leadership. This pathway prepares students to excel in and out of uniform, equipping them to tackle future challenges with confidence.
